It's had its run....but now its over....

In exactly 2 days, we will no longer be residents of Homewood Suites....no longer be living out of suitcases, and unfortunately, no longer have a maid everyday to make up our bed. I think its safe to say, as a family we cannot wait to be settled in our new home....3310 Big Sky Pass. Houston will definitely feel more like home once we move into ours.

So long hotel livin'.....

Rodeo? What rodeo?

After embracing our Texas homeland, we decided, as a family, to attend the Houston rodeo. What fun this would be to see bullriding, roping, the heart of what it means to be a Texan. This is the biggest rodeo in the world, afterall. After standing in line for about 45 minutes, we learned the "rodeo" was sold out.....so this was our experience.
EL TEJANO DAY!!! No bulls, no cowboys, no 8 seconds....but....we did experience a carnival--very rodeo, lots of petting zoos, and LOTS of people of a different native country.
It was fun....here are our pictures to show.

Gonna give it a try.....

Here we are in a new city, not even a new house (still living in a hotel), with a new job and I want to try something else new???!!!! I think I'm crazy on many different levels. On the other hand, everything seems to be falling into place, thank goodness.
Our sweet Caden keeps at it, and is active as ever! He's learned the "art of blowing kisses." For the first time yesterday, as I dropped him off at his new daycare, he didn't cry or attach himself to my leg! I walked out of the room, peered in through the window and was watching him play with the other kids. He saw that I was watching him, blew me a kiss and went back to playing with his friends and toy. He is my sweet baby boy!
